We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) to join our team in Fort McMurray.
This position will play a key role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance, supporting strategic decision-making, and contributing to the continued growth of the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities
-Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
-Oversee general accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
-Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
-Prepare budget forecasts and financial reporting packages.
-Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning.
-Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
-Coordinate with external auditors, accountants, and regulatory agencies.
-Review and prepare GST filings and other government reporting requirements.
-Develop and improve internal controls and financial processes.
-Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
-Support project costing, job costing, and profitability analysis.
Qualifications/Requirements
-Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required.
-Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience.
-Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations.
-Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
-Experience in construction, industrial services, or project-based accounting is considered a strong asset.
-Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
